What we look for in every candidate
TVA is selective by design. Our clients are fast-moving founders who need operations professionals they can trust from day one. Before you join our waitlist, please ensure you meet the prerequisites below — every candidate placed through TVA has cleared these standards.
ALX Africa Certification
You must hold a current ALX Africa certification in Virtual Assistant, Operations, or a related professional track.
Availability for Full-Time Work
Minimum 40 hours per week. Our placements are long-term, retainer-based engagements — not short-term project gigs.
Reliable Internet & Equipment
Stable broadband connection (minimum 10 Mbps upload/download) and a functioning laptop or desktop are non-negotiable.
English Proficiency
Strong written and spoken English is required. Our clients communicate primarily in English across all time zones.
Overlap with Client Time Zones
You must be able to work during these timezones business hours: EST, MST, PST, CST, AST, GMT, GST — or have confirmed overlap of at least 4 hours per day.
Professional References
At least two verifiable professional references — from a past employer, client, or ALX Africa programme facilitator.
